MSOAPO was formed on 01st July 2007 by the Ishi ambassadors (graduated Ishi Youth Advisory Group) whom operated for four years in Mtwara Region. It got legal recognition on 15th August 2007 when it was registered as a Non-Government Organization Register no 13NGO/1081. It has 15 youth volunteers’ Community based group working towards, youth development activities including alternative income generating activities and entrepreneurship, Peer education, reproductive Health, life skills in schools and out of school youth. MSOAPO works with local government authority and collaborates with other NGOs in the District, Region, National and International, at the beginning the organization has rented the office at the Community Centre Building where most of volunteers meet to do activities, later on organization managed to build are office
