The Aim of Msoapo

The aim of MSOAPO is to assist in building capacity of the Community of Mtwara to be self-reliant in its efforts of improving the living standard of the people in the region.

About Us

MSOAPO was formed on 01^st July 2007 by the Ishi ambassadors (graduated Ishi Youth Advisory Group) whom operated for four years in Mtwara Region. It got legal recognition on 15^th August 2007 when it was registered as a Non-Government Organization Register no ooNGO/R1/oo537. It has 15 youth volunteers’ Community based group working towards youth development activities including alternative income generating activities and entrepreneurship, Peer education, reproductive Health, life skills in schools and out of school youth

We work with communities, the government and other development partners to support communities from dark room of poverty through to insure our communities are able to identify, own and use opportunity available on sustainable base in order to improve their livelihoods and well-being.
